Senior EDI Administrator
Border States
• Supports the day-to-day operations of the IT Operations Team by administering company EDI systems. • Provides day-to-day technical leadership for the IT Operations Team. • Plans, analyzes, configures, tunes, and troubleshoots EDI systems. • Installs, upgrades, and maintains EDI Systems. • Develops and maintains technical documentation for EDI process flow, troubleshooting and problem resolution, monitoring capacity and performance, and related disaster recovery procedures. • Monitors and troubleshoots EDI transactions both in SAP and in EDI system, and recommends remedies to eliminate reoccurring errors.
Job Requirements
- Four-year degree in computer science, information systems, or management information systems or the equivalent in work experience.
- 3+ years’ experience working with EDI application and specifically with SAP backend system.
- Knowledge of EDI terminology and X12 and/or XML standard formatting languages.
- Experience in process design is helpful.
- Knowledge of EDI communication methods, such as AS2, FTP, etc.

• Design, implementation and operation of network environments based on common systems (e.g., Meraki, SonicWall, Fortinet, HP Aruba, Cisco) • Management and coordination of external IT service providers in the network area • Organization and execution of assignments abroad for the commissioning and maintenance of networks • Monitoring network availability as well as analyzing and resolving faults • Development and enforcement of network standards in close coordination with the IT team • Supporting and training users on network-related questions • Ongoing maintenance and structured documentation of the network infrastructure • Support and further development of the deployed monitoring tool (e.g., PRTG)
