Team Lead
Rockstar
Rockstar is recruiting for the leading agentic CIRM platform. Their thought leadership led Gartner to establish CIRM as a category in early 2026. All the teams involved in IR operate out of their platform to coordinate an enterprise-wide response to cyber and other disruptive events. They support some of the largest Fortune 20 customers in the world. The organization is looking for an exceptional strategic seller ready to take on a Team Lead role and advance their career at an exciting, innovative market leader. The candidate should be the best seller this business has ever seen, which is a bold statement they are prepared to stand behind. The intention is for the candidate to quickly establish themselves as a leader and move into a Sales Manager role ideally within the first 6-months. This is a remote position and a key early hire for the Sales team. The ideal candidate understands how to make an impact and create the greatest value in an organization. This role reports directly to the CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) and will collaborate closely with founders and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented environment. This position requires a minimum of 7-10 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience and a proven track record exceeding quota by closing large 6 and 7-figure deals. Experience selling a platform to multiple cross-functional key stakeholders is a must. The candidate knows how to navigate complex opportunities in large organizations. This means their question-asking and discovery process is second to none. They are the best there is when it comes to finding out everything there is to know about the customer and opportunity, and they understand what’s required for success. This is an extraordinary opportunity to join a small team, make a huge impact, and get in on the ground floor of a top-tier venture-funded startup experiencing explosive 200% (3X) YoY growth. Their Series A funding round was led by Ballistic Ventures, and their board members include the former CEO of (now Google) Mandiant and the former CEO of RSA (yes, that conference). Please note that as a minimum requirement for this role, the candidate must have closed at least one (1) Fortune 20 customer, AND five (5) Fortune 100 OR ten (10) Fortune 500 customers. If a candidate believes they’re a finished product, this is not the place for them. There’s always room to improve, and the successful candidate is always eager to put in the work towards doing so. They will help define the GTM motion and bring a game-changing cybersecurity platform to market. If a candidate is a top-performing SaaS seller who thrives in high-stakes environments and loves selling into CISOs, GCs, and Privacy Officers, this is their shot to make a huge impact while developing into a sales leadership position. The Opportunity * Lead by example… initially, the candidate will focus on actively supporting the existing sales team by directly helping to close 3-5 large enterprise deals to accelerate the team's success, act as a mentor for complex deal cycles, and help establish best practices. * Leadership development… this is a defined stepping-stone role with the expectation of transitioning into a Sales Manager position after demonstrating the ability to close deals and lead the team * Thrive in a startup environment where you can make a huge impact. * Work closely with the founders and executive team to generate revenue. * Help create pipeline, drive deals, and develop the sales engine as they continue to scale. * Quarterback a supporting team (SDR, SE, CSM, TAM, etc) while managing deal lifecycle from initial outreach through Closed Won and continued expansion. * Close large enterprise deals with top global brands. * Have fun and help build the foundation of the Revenue org in a high-velocity startup with an amazing team! What Success Looks Like * Develop a thorough understanding of the platform. * Comprehensive research and prospecting into key verticals and accounts. * Highly proficient and deeply competent at leveraging AI in their sales motion. * Clearly articulate the value proposition and drive new customer engagement. * Successfully navigate complex organizational structures in large enterprises and ensure all key stakeholders are appropriately involved. * Consistently advance deals through multithreaded stakeholder engagement. * Collaborate cross-functionally to unblock opportunities and deliver business outcomes. * Close 6-figure enterprise deals and successfully support the sales team to win 3-5 major deals in the first 6 months. * Transition into a Sales Manager role after meeting performance and leadership milestones. * Navigate complex organizational structures and multi-stakeholder environments, often involving CISOs, GCs, Privacy and Compliance leaders. * Orchestrate a compelling product walkthrough, lead POVs, and handle objections with insight and credibility. * Maintain up-to-date pipeline hygiene and forecasting in Salesforce. * Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively share the product offering with prospective customers. * Confidently speaking with people at all levels in large enterprises, including upper management and C-level executives. About You * 7–10+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a proven track record exceeding quota. * Experience selling security, compliance, legal, or risk platforms to large enterprises. * Strong understanding of cybersecurity and the risk landscape, or a quick study. * Fluent in engaging and selling to C-level buyers (CISOs, GCs, CTOs). * Exceptional discovery, qualification, and consultative selling skills. * Organized, detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and pipeline discipline. * Resilient and driven — you thrive in ambiguity and love building from scratch. * Excellent communication, presentation, and executive storytelling skills. * Demonstrated informal leadership or mentoring experience in previous roles is a strong plus. * You have an insatiable appetite to win, and you understand doing so isn’t easy. In fact, it often involves doing things the hard way, because that’s the right way. Cutting corners is not an option. * You outperform everyone else because you work longer, harder, smarter, and retire more quota faster as a result. * A growth mindset, you don’t take things personally. You understand the importance of EQ and actively seek out feedback on how to improve. You strive to set the bar, on all things, all the time. * You’re comfortable being uncomfortable because you understand that’s what fuels growth and achievement. You are a professional sales athlete. * Your persistence is unparalleled. A creative, assertive problem-solver, you are curious, prepared, team-oriented and a self-starter. * Organized and detail-oriented, with incredible follow-through. You are highly accountable, positive and fun to work with. * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable with ambiguity, willing to roll up your sleeves and figure things out. * Ability to not only balance, but effectively manage competing priorities, and multiple projects/deals at the same time. * Extremely well-organized, quick-learner, self-directed, highly energetic, professional and flexible. Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment. Sense of humor. * Precise attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. * Experience selling into Security preferred. Selling into Legal a value-add. * Background in organized sports/experience working in a small team environment a plus. * College degree or equivalent required.
