Role Description We are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead our engineering efforts across Dentrix Enterprise and axiUm Academic. These platforms support a wide range of customers – from large DSOs to academic dental institutions – requiring a leader who can navigate complex clinical, operational, and enterprise workflows while driving innovation and consistency across both environments. Our ideal candidate is a proactive, independent problem-solver who thrives in a high-trust environment and is motivated by making a meaningful impact for Henry Schein One customers. You lead with a commitment to building high-quality, maintainable software, and bring project management and Scrum expertise to drive outcomes. You communicate clearly, set expectations effectively, and confidently partner with high-priority customers to triage and resolve escalations. This position will be remote in the United States with the ability to travel up to 10% or hybrid in our American Fork, UT office 2–3 days per week.
