Role Description The Leasing Associate will join our team remotely. This position will work during standard US Pacific Time business hours. The Leasing Associate will report to the Senior Managing Director. This role will be highly visible and integral to the streamlining of our leasing processes. Duties - Leasing & Tenant Relations: - Identify and engage prospective tenants through email marketing campaigns, cold calls, and other strategic marketing efforts. - Assist in drafting and negotiating lease terms and agreements for new and renewing leases, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market conditions. - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing tenants, addressing leasing-related inquiries and concerns promptly. - Market Research & Strategy: - Monitor market trends, rental rates, and competitor activity to inform and enhance leasing strategies. - Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns to attract tenants, including digital advertising, printing materials, and social media outreach. - Prepare and present market analysis reports to management, providing insights into tenant demand and leasing opportunities. - Lease Administration & Documentation: - Support Asset Management Executives in preparing and reviewing Letters of Intent (LOIs), lease agreements, amendments, and other related legal documents. - Coordinate with legal and finance teams to ensure lease compliance, mitigate risks, and uphold contractual obligations. - Maintain accurate leasing records and ensure proper documentation of agreements, transactions, and correspondence. - Collaboration & Teamwork: - Assist in planning and executing property marketing initiatives and tenant retention strategies. - Foster collaboration between internal departments to ensure seamless leasing operations. - Administrative Support: - Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements. - Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for review. - Assist in drafting, proofreading, and finalizing lease agreements, contracts, and internal communications. - Organize and maintain leasing files, databases, and records to ensure efficient access and compliance. - Serve as a liaison between executives, clients, tenants, and internal teams, facilitating communication and coordination. - Oversee lease and legal document execution workflows, ensuring timely approvals and processing agreements. - Handle expense reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required. - Minimum of 5 years of related experience. - Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (both written and verbally) within all levels of the organization and externally with tenants, vendors, and other outside parties. - Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision. - Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. - Must possess a strong work ethic. - Must be a team player. - Yardi experience a plus.
