Description The Programmatic Media Strategy Manager is a pivotal leader within the GM MediaOne programmatic media team. This person will lead a team of programmatic practitioners across one or more vehicle brands or corporate brands (ie. OnStar, Certified Service). They will also support the Head of Programmatic Media Strategy and Activation to guide the overall development of GM's in-house programmatic team and strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of programmatic media, experience leading a team, and the ability to develop and execute innovative programmatic media strategies. In addition, this person will manage key internal stakeholder relationships across business units, ensuring that programmatic efforts align with overall business objectives. Drive change through persuasion, overcoming differing opinions and past practices. - Independent & Cross Team Leadership: Provides technical expertise and supports team interactions with other departments. Skills and Abilities - 7+ years of experience in programmatic media, with a proven track record of success - Deep understanding of programmatic media principles, best practices, and emerging trends - Demonstrated hands-on campaign execution with leading programmatic platforms (DV360, Trade Desk, Amazon, Yahoo, etc.) - Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing a team - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills - Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - Experience in client communication and management - Demonstrated ability to own and effectively manage a large budget - Ability to offer a clear POV and a strong rationale to defend position as the media lead for the brand - Ability to prioritize and tie all media plans to support the business plan & core priorities - Ability to communicate strategy and plans effectively Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only.
