The Interventionist works with the “At-Risk” student population to provide remediation to support academic goals to increase growth in these areas. This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. - Modifies and/or adapts the K12 curriculum in alignment with the state’s content standards to meet the unique needs of each student; - Collaborates with general education teachers to meet the goals of the targeted students through individualized and small group sessions; - Educates parents on various instructional strategies; - Ensures the implementation of the RTI instructional system to increase student achievement; - Oversees data collection and progress monitoring at every tier; Uses data to help teachers plan whole and small group instruction; provides guidance to teachers on identifying and grouping students who need additional help; - Collects and maintains all RTI data (lists of eligible students, intervention plans). - Serves as a daily resource to school administrators, school leadership teams, and other stakeholders regarding RTI issues. - Collaborates with homeroom teachers, advisors, counselors, and additional district personnel to coordinate and track Tier 2 interventions. - Provides ongoing training and support to school/district staff regarding RTI and the implementation of the RTI and data collection procedures. - Supports teachers in documenting student progress; - Works with the special education team to facilitate eligibility for special education; - Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and/or as required by the school. You will engage with callers experiencing a broad range of emotional, behavioral, and situational challenges. This role requires emotional resilience, exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to multitask while maintaining clarity and professionalism. While many calls involve acute needs, not all calls are crisis calls; some are administrative or supportive in nature. Regardless of the call type, you will ensure each caller receives professional, solution-focused care and a high-quality service experience. Primary Responsibilities Provide empathetic, ethical, and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing distress or seeking guidance. Build rapport, actively listen, and foster client engagement. Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including levels of risk and urgent safety issues. Provide resources, coping strategies, referrals, and safety planning. Intervene appropriately in emergent situations. Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically sound documentation. Multitask effectively while navigating multiple software systems. Ensure a secure, HIPAA-compliant home workspace with a locking door and a wired, stable internet connection. What You Can Expect Six-Week Paid Virtual Training Cohort: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST A structured onboarding program including skills development, role-playing, mentored live call work, and crisis-care foundations. Successful completion is required for continued employment. Remote Scheduling: Upon graduation from training, you will transition to your regular schedule, developed in collaboration with our Scheduling Department.
