Role Description We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Technical Report Writer to join our team remotely. As a Commissioning Technical Report Writer, you will be responsible for interpreting data gathered with our power quality meters during testing at data centers and using this data to create high-quality, detailed technical reports that summarize the commissioning testing scripted procedures. - Produce comprehensive technical reports using our custom software documenting the commissioning and testing of new electrical systems. - Work closely with our report writing team to ensure accuracy and completeness of reports. - Meet project deadlines, while maintaining quality reporting standards. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field preferred. - 2+ years of experience in technical writing or software documentation. - Must have an electrical engineering or electrician’s background or strong understanding of electrical engineering. - Experience with testing UPS systems within a data center environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. - Proficient in using desktop/laptop computers. - High attention to detail. - Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat. Requirements - The job will require occasional travel to headquarters (New Hampshire). - Must be able to sit for extended periods and perform tasks requiring a high level of concentration and attention to detail. • Own Span’s content roadmap and execution. Plan, create, and ship content across written, video, and live formats, including blogs, technical explainers, interviews, email, and events. • Develop and maintain Span’s editorial voice. Ensure consistency and quality across all published work, from long-form thought leadership to product-adjacent content. • Launch and run ongoing content series. Create durable formats and campaigns that engage R&D leaders and builders over time, not just one-off posts. • Partner closely with founders, product, and design. Turn market insight, customer impact, and practitioner conversations into clear, high-signal content. • Produce original interviews and conversations. Identify, host, and publish conversations with engineers, leaders, and thinkers shaping how modern software teams work. • Grow and engage a high-quality audience. Build momentum through LinkedIn, X, trusted partners, and intimate events that engineering leaders actively choose to engage with.

• Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing standardized documentation templates like Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), formal agendas, and action item trackers. • Manage project documentation and ensure its completion throughout the project lifecycle. • Conduct deep-dive meetings with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information, document minutes, establish timelines, and identify action items. • Host weekly project sync meetings, documenting milestones, action items, and escalation points, and ensuring all parties are aligned. • Engage key stakeholders and project sponsors from project discovery to closure. • Prioritize and manage project scope, cost, and timelines while effectively managing stakeholder expectations. • Act as a communication champion, ensuring transparency and managing competing agendas among stakeholders. • Validate the workflows and processes of incoming WTS opportunities. • Collaborate with internal and external partners on process and operational improvements throughout the project cycle. • Conduct project closure processes and contribute to organization-wide procedure improvements using lessons learned.

• Develop and curate technical content leveraging information gathered via interviews, research, and content review • Draft compelling proposal narratives from interviews with SMEs • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from various sources • Interview Program Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and Solution Architects to draft technical proposal content • Attend capture, solution, and proposal meetings to ensure complete understanding of opportunity • Deliver compelling and compliant content under tight deadlines
