Role Description We are looking for an enterprising, self-starting individual to join our company as a Regional Sales Representative. As part of our team, you recognize and cultivate potential sales leads, travel to meet with prospective clients, and endeavor to transform one-off sales into lasting beneficial relationships. You will build relationships with existing and potential customers. This role involves supporting customers with load bank applications, providing technical solutions, and creating clear, accurate documentation that enhances product usability and customer experience. Key Responsibilities - Application Engineering - Serve as the technical expert for load bank products, assisting customers with selection, configuration, and control options. - Collaborate with Sales to analyze customer requirements and recommend optimal load bank solutions for testing and commissioning of power systems. - Provide remote technical support, troubleshooting, and training. - Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to improve product performance and features. - Technical Writing - Develop and maintain user manuals, installation guides, quick start guides, operation procedures, and troubleshooting documentation for load bank products. - Create technical content for proposals, specifications, application notes, and marketing. - Ensure documentation meets industry standards for clarity, accuracy, and compliance. - Translate complex technical concepts into clear language for diverse audiences. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in application engineering or technical support, preferably in power systems or power generation. - Years of experience and or electrical knowledge can be substituted for a bachelor's degree. - Strong technical writing skills with proven experience creating user documentation. - Familiarity with electrical switchgear, electrical testing, and load bank operation. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Proficiency with documentation tools. Preferred Skills - Knowledge of power systems, generators, and electrical testing standards. - Ability to create diagrams, schematics, and visual aids for technical documents. - Experience with drawing software or similar tools for technical illustrations. Role Description We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Technical Report Writer to join our team remotely. As a Commissioning Technical Report Writer, you will be responsible for interpreting data gathered with our power quality meters during testing at data centers and using this data to create high-quality, detailed technical reports that summarize the commissioning testing scripted procedures. - Produce comprehensive technical reports using our custom software documenting the commissioning and testing of new electrical systems. - Work closely with our report writing team to ensure accuracy and completeness of reports. - Meet project deadlines, while maintaining quality reporting standards. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field preferred. - 2+ years of experience in technical writing or software documentation. - Must have an electrical engineering or electrician’s background or strong understanding of electrical engineering. - Experience with testing UPS systems within a data center environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. - Proficient in using desktop/laptop computers. - High attention to detail. - Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat. Requirements - The job will require occasional travel to headquarters (New Hampshire). - Must be able to sit for extended periods and perform tasks requiring a high level of concentration and attention to detail.
