• Maintain and improve the custody systems that hold validator keys, operational keys, and important objects for Mysten-run smart contracts and general on-chain operations, including key generation, storage, access controls, signing workflows, aggregation, rotation, and recovery procedures • Harden the signing path end-to-end: review and improve the code, infrastructure, and operational practices around how transactions are authorized, reviewed, and submitted on-chain • Build and improve anti-scam and anti-abuse tooling for the Sui ecosystem, detecting phishing sites, malicious dApps, drainer contracts, and other threats that target Sui users, and partnering with wallet ecosystem teams on mitigations. • Conduct code and design reviews of components that interact with sensitive keys or handle on-chain assets, with a focus on cryptographic correctness, access control, and operational safety • Participate in investigation and response for security issues and incidents that touch custody or ecosystem abuse, and drive concrete fixes that prevent the same class of issue from recurring

• Design, implement, and maintain Walrus core, including storage node, client software, smart contracts and toolchains that power Walrus and its infrastructure. • Work closely with the research, cryptography, production, security teams, and Sui core teams, to keep the Walrus network secure, performant, and reliable. • Optimize existing systems for scalability, efficiency, and reliability. • Collaborate with other teams at Mysten Labs to integrate new features and technologies.

• Build dashboards that drive understanding of DeFi protocols and stablecoin activity on Sui for PMs, engineers, Partnerships, and the executive leadership team. • Run analyses on liquidity, trading volumes, lending utilization, holder behavior, and stablecoin velocity to identify high-impact opportunities for Mysten Labs and ecosystem partners. • Develop measurement frameworks for evaluating DeFi protocol health, wash trading detection, real vs. incentivized activity, and stablecoin adoption quality. • Collaborate with the data and engineering teams to set new standards for DeFi and stablecoin measurement across the industry. • Partner with BD and partnerships to measure the impact of integrations with major DeFi protocols, stablecoin issuers, and market makers. • Make data processing jobs run reliably in a lightweight, scrappy environment.

• Own the full partnership lifecycle for Hashi integrations: drive post-signing onboarding, technical implementation, launch, and ongoing performance optimization with custodians, Bitcoin wallets, DeFi protocols, liquidity providers, vaults, and lending platforms. • Coordinate end-to-end execution: align technical roadmaps, resolve integration blockers, and facilitate co-development to enable frictionless Bitcoin collateralization and lending flows on Sui. • Collaborate with partners to design, launch, and iterate on competitive lending products, including dollar-denominated borrowing at market-leading rates and innovative yield structures incorporating yield-bearing stable instruments. • Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., TVL, borrowing volume, yield competitiveness, user adoption) and proactively drive enhancements to maintain Sui’s leadership in Bitcoin DeFi. • Serve as the primary escalation point for partners, aligning internal Mysten Labs teams (engineering, product, ecosystem, legal) to deliver rapid support and iteration. • Develop joint go-to-market strategies, co-marketing campaigns, and incentive programs to accelerate mutual growth and on-chain liquidity. • Track portfolio health, report on milestones and impact to leadership, and identify opportunities for deeper collaboration or new deal expansion. • Stay ahead of Bitcoin ecosystem trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive yield strategies to guide partners and inform Sui’s roadmap.

• Design and develop software solutions, supporting a broader set of RPC and data-heavy services built on top of Sui. • Utilize hands-on software engineering, including methodologies to ensure correctness and performance of implemented software components. • Be fluent in software systems’ languages such as Rust and C++. • Analyze information and utilize experience in evaluating secure software systems, including secure programming, appropriate use of cryptography, and prevention of DoS attacks. • Handle horizontal software systems in the Interop team that interface directly with the Sui network such as the Sui RPC nodes and support verticals that span teams including Cryptography, Move Platform, and Walrus by productionizing their externally facing services. • Participate in the Interop Layer, providing software systems support for the services that run on top of Sui, in all of their aspects of Sui interactions, state management, production reliability and release management. • Design and implement large distributed systems. • Utilize experience in networking, distributed systems, storage, databases, operating systems, and runtimes to be able to read research papers in the field and design systems based on them. • Be fluent in writing design documentation as well as participating in technical discussions and reviews synchronously, asynchronously, in person or remotely.
