By combining proprietary datasets with advanced AI systems, we are redefining title search from a manual, fragmented process into a fast, scalable, and highly accurate system of record. We work with leading title agencies, lenders, and real estate operators across the country, supporting both residential and commercial transactions. Role Overview We are seeking a Title Officer / Title Examiner to review, analyze, and finalize title search outputs generated by our platform. This role sits at the intersection of title expertise and technology, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and insurability of title reports. You will play a critical role in validating complex title chains, identifying issues, and helping refine the next generation of AI-driven title workflows. Key Responsibilities Title Examination - Review title searches, reports, and document packages for accuracy and completeness - Analyze chain of title, including deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, and restrictions - Identify title defects, clouds, and vesting issues Issue Resolution - Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve title issues - Escalate complex or ambiguous cases appropriately - Must have Title Search and Exam experience is multi states - Working knowledge of county government websites AI-Augmented Workflow - Review and validate AI-generated title outputs - Provide feedback to improve system accuracy and edge-case handling Quality Control - Ensure all work meets internal quality standards and client expectations - Maintain consistency across jurisdictions and product types - Support continuous improvement of QA processes Qualifications Required • 3–7+ years of experience in title examination, title officer, or similar role • Strong understanding of: - Chain of title analysis - Liens, judgments, and encumbrances - Legal descriptions and vesting • Experience reviewing both residential and commercial title (commercial a plus) • Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Preferred - Multi-state experience across county record systems - Familiarity with major title production systems (SoftPro, ResWare, Qualia, etc.) - Experience working with underwriters or issuing policies - Comfort working with technology platforms and evolving workflows What Success Looks Like - High accuracy and low error rates across reviewed files - Ability to handle complex title scenarios with minimal supervision - Consistent turnaround times aligned with company SLAs - Meaningful contributions to improving AI-driven workflows - Handling multi tasking to get quick and efficient resolution to title issues Why Join Pippin - Be part of a category-defining platform in real estate and AI - Work on cutting-edge systems transforming a $20B+ industry - Remote-first, high-performance team - Opportunity to shape the future of title search and property intelligence
Job Requirements
- Required 3–7+ years of experience in title examination, title officer, or similar role
- Strong understanding of: Chain of title analysis
- Liens, judgments, and encumbrances
- Legal descriptions and vesting
- Experience reviewing both residential and commercial title (commercial a plus)
