Case Manager, Patient Services – Rare Disease
PTC Therapeutics, Inc.
• Provide personalized assistance to patients/caregivers with complex medical conditions • Work directly with patients/caregivers to access PTC products • Build positive relationships with various stakeholders • Solve problems to help patients gain therapy access • Communicate confidentially with stakeholders while complying with laws • Navigate CRM system and learn internal processes • Report Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints • Interpret patient insurance and health-related documentation • Perform administrative functions • Maintain subject matter expertise in rare diseases
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 to 5 years of Case Management experience
- Experience with orphan/rare disease biotech environment
- Strong problem-solving and solution skills
- Ability to anticipate patients' needs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to enter data quickly and accurately into CRM
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus
