Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager / Delivery Lead to join our Wealth Management team. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of technology programs and initiatives that enhance our wealth management and financial services offerings. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, program management experience, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in wealth management, asset management, investment platforms, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Program Delivery & Management: - Lead and manage complex, multi-faceted technology programs related to wealth management solutions, financial services platforms, and digital transformation initiatives. - Develop and manage detailed program roadmaps, timelines, resource plans, and budgets. - Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of program milestones. - Monitor project progress and resolve any roadblocks or delays, adjusting timelines and resources as necessary. - Act as the main point of contact for all program-related communication, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on objectives, timelines, and deliverables. - Stakeholder Management: - Work closely with senior leadership, business units, product owners, and IT teams to define program objectives and deliverables that align with business goals. - Translate business requirements into technical solutions, balancing stakeholder needs with technical constraints. - Manage expectations and foster strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and continuous alignment. - Risk and Issue Management: - Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and obstacles that could impact the program's success. - Lead regular status meetings and escalations, tracking and resolving issues promptly. - Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, SEC, MiFID II, etc.). - Team Leadership: - Lead cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. - Drive collaboration across teams, ensuring high levels of accountability, motivation, and performance. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices in both technology and process. - Technical Oversight: - Provide technical guidance and direction for the implementation of complex financial systems, platforms, and integrations. - Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical solutions are scalable, secure, and meet performance and regulatory requirements. - Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends within wealth management and financial services to provide recommendations and insights that drive innovation. - Quality Assurance and Delivery: - Oversee the testing and validation processes to ensure all deliverables meet the defined quality standards and business requirements. - Work closely with QA teams to create test plans, ensuring the end product is robust, reliable, and defect-free. - Ensure all necessary documentation is created and maintained, including technical specifications, release notes, and training materials. Qualifications: Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). - 10+ years of experience in technical program management or delivery lead roles, ideally within the wealth management, financial services, or fintech sectors. - Proven experience leading complex, large-scale technology programs or initiatives in a highly regulated industry. - Experience working with financial products, wealth management platforms, investment banking technologies, or asset management solutions is highly desirable. Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of the wealth management domain, including investment management, portfolio strategies, financial planning, and client relationship management tools. - Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project). - Strong technical background with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language. - Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, SEC regulations) is a plus. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and technical teams. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), CRM/wealth management platforms, and APIs is a plus.
