You'll bridge technical and business stakeholders, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement across our product and engineering organization. Program Management is a new and growing function at Veracross and you will have the opportunity to help iterate and improve upon existing processes. This role will be embedded within Veracross' FinTech portfolio teams, assisting with their overall project management and communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working cross-functionally across multiple teams and is able to seamlessly manage multiple key initiatives simultaneously. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage key initiatives and programs for the Fintech teams - Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily meetings, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives - Assist in optimizing and improving existing program management processes, methodologies - Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and documentation for multiple projects simultaneously - Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, driving mitigation strategies and resolution - Manage stakeholder expectations through effective, proactive communication and transparent reporting - Track and communicate program status, health, metrics, and milestones to leadership - Coordinate quarterly and annual capacity planning across Fintech engineering teams to optimize resource allocation - Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and best practices alongside product and engineering management
Job Requirements
- 3-5+ years of program management experience within software engineering environments
- Knowledge and understanding of software development practices
- Track record of delivering complex software engineering programs on time and within scope.
- Strong cross-team collaboration and ability to build relationships across teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Strong familiarity with agile methodologies (specifically Scrum) and experience serving as a Scrum Master
- Demonstrated ability to perform quarterly and annual capacity planning and resource allocation
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, etc.)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Nice to Have
- Experience working in Fintech
- Agile certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar
- Experience using Jellyfish to track engineering team performance

- Salary at Veracross is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. The compensation range for this position is $110k to $140k (annualized USD) in addition to potential bonus.
