WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB: The American Red Cross seeks an experienced Senior-Level Mulesoft Developer to join our Humanitarian Services IT team in supporting applications that enable mission delivery for Red Cross Humanitarian Services to support disaster response and relief, service to the armed forces and their families, and our international mission. We work directly with our mission partners on the discovery, design, development, and ongoing enhancement of our digital product portfolio. We are striving towards an API-first model for our mission applications to enable agility, scale, improved client, and workforce experience, and enabling mission outcomes. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications): • At least 7 years of IT systems development experience, with a primary focus on Integrations and API management. • 5+ years of strong Hands-On Integration development and support experience with excellent problem-solving skills in MuleSoft and API Management areas including but not limited to Any point Platform, Flow Design, and API Design. The primary goal of Mission’s platform is to accelerate the delivery of quality services to our customers and create a feature set that can be built upon by product teams. As a Software Engineer, Backend, you will contribute to maintaining REST and GraphQL APIs served by a Flask application running in a containerized AWS workload.
