Oracle EPM Consultant, Essbase, Python

Talpro India Private Limited

• Lead implementation and support of EPM Planning solutions. • Work extensively with Essbase Standalone Cubes, including data loads, cube processing and calculations, business rules and scripting. • Develop and maintain financial planning models and data flows. • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and system optimization. • Develop and maintain Python-based integration and transformation components. • Build scalable data pipelines for finance and analytics systems. • Work on automation, modular codebases, and reusable frameworks. • Support API-based integrations and backend processing. • Use SQL for complex transformations, procedures, and data handling. • Design and extend data models and data warehouses. • Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and estimations. • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Experience
  • Strong expertise in Oracle EPM Planning
  • Deep experience with Essbase (data loads, calc scripts, APIs, cube processing)
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python (mandatory) : Data integration, data transformation, automation
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with REST APIs and integration patterns
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Proficiency with GIT / version control
  • Good to Have: Experience with Oracle Analytics (OAC / OAS / OBIEE / ODI)
  • Exposure to OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
  • Experience in Finance Data Platforms / Finance Data Hub
  • Experience working with UK or global stakeholders
