HR Generalist

• Organizing trainings • Administering employee benefits and leaves • Creating HR policies • Ensuring all employee records are up-to-date and confidential • Acting as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics • Planning and conducting new employee orientation • Identifying and managing training and development needs for employees • Administering HR policies and procedures • Administering and ensuring compensation and benefits are in line with company policies and legislation • Supporting annual performance review • Implementing and monitoring performance management system • Handling employee complaints, grievances and disputes • Administering employee discipline processes • Facilitating Performance Improvement Plans • Maintaining the human resource information system and employee database • Coordinating employee safety, welfare and wellness • Maintaining knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions • Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations

Job Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in human resources management, business administration or equivalent
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • Generalist human resources experience
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of HR management
  • Knowledge of business principles
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Knowledge of relevant software
