Role Description This is a remote position with occasional travel to the corporate office (Tallahassee, FL) for key project initiatives, quarterly planning, leadership collaboration, or company-wide meetings. We are seeking a highly capable Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud & Enterprise Platforms who can immediately contribute across cloud architecture, enterprise systems engineering, infrastructure modernization, and platform reliability. This role is designed for a senior-level engineer who can independently lead initiatives, solve complex infrastructure challenges, and help shape the next phase of our technology evolution across cloud, hybrid infrastructure, security, and automation. You will serve as a hands-on technical leader responsible for reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across both cloud and enterprise infrastructure. In this role, you will: - Administer, maintain, and optimize multiple Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters supporting our multi-tenant platform. - Manage Azure SQL databases including elastic pools, backups, connectivity, and performance tuning. - Deploy and maintain infrastructure-as-code environments using Terraform and Git workflows. - Configure and improve monitoring, logging, and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana. - Manage Log Analytics workspaces and implement cost optimization strategies. - Troubleshoot application connectivity, AKS workloads, and database issues. - Implement and maintain security controls across all platform resources, including RBAC and identity configurations. - Automate operational processes using PowerShell, Python, and Bash. - Create and maintain runbooks, documentation, and operational procedures. - Collaborate closely with Development and DevOps teams to support infrastructure requirements and deployment patterns. - Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure availability of critical cloud infrastructure services. - Lead and support infrastructure projects involving Windows server modernization, platform upgrades, cloud migrations, and hybrid connectivity initiatives. - Administer and support enterprise systems including Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, backup platforms, and virtual infrastructure. - Support networking and security operations including virtual networks, firewalls, VPN connectivity, segmentation, private endpoints, and secure access controls. - Partner with internal teams to evaluate emerging technologies including AI-enabled operational tooling, automation platforms, and infrastructure efficiency opportunities. - Act as a senior technical resource capable of driving implementation, mentoring others, and helping establish engineering standards. Qualifications - 7 to 10 years of total infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 5 years supporting cloud and hybrid enterprise environments. - Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience across core services including AKS, Azure SQL, networking (VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints), and RBAC. - Strong understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals including node pools, autoscaling, namespaces, and deployments, with production AKS support experience. - Hands-on Windows Server and virtual infrastructure experience including hypervisor management, Active Directory, backup management, Windows administration, and Group Policy. - Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including VLANs, routing, firewall policies, VPN technologies, and hybrid connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments. - Experience working with firewall administration, infrastructure security hardening, and access control strategies. - Experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash. - Solid knowledge of monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, or Grafana. - Ability to troubleshoot application, connectivity, and database issues across distributed cloud environments. - Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage technical priorities, and execute with minimal supervision. - Strong documentation habits, clear communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. - Experience supporting production enterprise environments where uptime, resilience, and operational discipline are critical. - Preferred: Experience supporting healthcare platforms, security/compliance frameworks, and cost optimization initiatives. Job Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of total infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 5 years supporting cloud and hybrid enterprise environments.
