Job Description
Solutions Account Manager
Slip Robotics
Introduction Slip Robotics is a venture-backed, supply chain robotics startup that provides robots-as-a-service for automated truck loading unloading in under 5 minutes. 23% of a truck driver’s workday is typically wasted idling and waiting for their truck to be loaded/unloaded at a dock, while forklift drivers face constant pressure to quickly load/unload freight despite the high risks of damage and injury. SlipBots auto-load/unload all types of trucks in less than 5 minutes to increase safety, speed, and savings across the supply chain. Slip is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, and serves multiple Fortune 500 customers in 24/7 production manufacturing and logistics operations throughout North America. We’re looking for motivated people to join our team to help fuel our growth and modernize the supply chain. Position Overview The Solutions Account Manager at Slip Robotics is a strategic role focused on building and maintaining strong customer relationships while providing innovative robotic solutions to meet their operational challenges. This position requires a proactive approach to understanding customer needs, identifying solution areas, and facilitating successful implementation of our robotics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical acumen and sales expertise, with a keen understanding of logistics operations. Key responsibilities include managing the entire customer journey — from initial engagement and needs assessment to project deployment and ongoing support. The Solutions Account Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and customer success teams to ensure seamless integration of our technology, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and retention. This role is pivotal in advocating for customer interests within Slip Robotics while also identifying growth opportunities that align with solutions we can offer. Responsibilities - Develop in-depth knowledge of customers’ operations and challenges, interfacing with multiple stakeholders to drive engagement and understand their needs. - Lead discovery sessions, and needs assessments, and consult with customers on solutions that would enhance productivity and efficiency within their operations. - Coordinate the implementation of robotic solutions in collaboration with project management, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met. - Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, maintaining ongoing communication and providing updates on project status and performance. - Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Slip Robotics solutions to enhance customer operations and increase account value. - Collaborate with the engineering team to communicate customer feedback and new requirements, facilitating iterative improvements to our solutions. - Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform customer strategies and Slip Robotics' offerings. - Prepare regular reports and presentations to showcase value delivered to customers, utilizing KPIs and performance metrics.
Job Requirements

- Proven experience in a solutions-oriented sales environment, adept at building customer relationships and achieving growth targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and facilitate discussions effectively.
- Additional Information
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed, approximately 30-50% of the time.
