• Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with global commercial goals • Build and maintain strong, executive-level relationships with key clients in the region • Accelerate top-line growth by being accountable for achievement of a regional sales target • Partner with other sales leaders, marketing, commercial strategy and commercial operations • Represent Evotec at industry events, trade shows, and key client meetings • Hire, mentor, train, and motivate sales teams to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field
  • Minimum 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the CRO, CDMO, or life sciences industry
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing client portfolios
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, presentation and excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region in support of the team
  • Previous experience and success in selling development services, such as pre-clinical, API, drug products, and/or clinical is a requirement, as well as having managed and coached a sales team to do the same

Role Description The Marketplace Lending Manager is a critical role responsible for ensuring that all loans that are credit approved are matched up with an appropriate lender in the B Generous marketplace. Specifically, this role will manage each loan transaction once the B Generous underwriting team has credit-approved a loan and the borrower has signed their term sheet. - Post the deal live into the B Generous lending marketplace. - Oversee each borrower application to ensure it is matched with an appropriate marketplace lender in a timely manner. - Project manage the loan and the relationship between the borrower and lender to ensure a frictionless process. - Interface with lending partners in the B Generous marketplace (e.g. banks, credit unions, private credit funds, CDFIs). - Package and post loan opportunities in the marketplace. - Manage lender due diligence and oversee communications between lenders and borrowers. - Drive deals to close and ensure a seamless origination experience for borrowers. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in banking with a focus on commercial lending, commercial loan underwriting and/or commercial loan operations, or a directly related role within lending, FinTech, or financial services. - Strong understanding of commercial loan closing processes, commercial loan underwriting, and commercial loan documentation requirements. - Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions across various counterparties. - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including direct experience interfacing with senior bankers, financial services executives, nonprofit CFOs and CEOs, and senior credit professionals. - Ability to “speak bank” with senior bankers, Chief Credit Officers, Senior Commercial Lenders, and bank CEOs. - Experience working with community banks and/or smaller regional banks (balance sheet $100M – $20B). - Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), loan origination software, and standard productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Asana). - Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. - Proactive and accountable, requiring exceptional initiative and strong follow-through.
