Position Summary The Marketplace Lending Manager is a critical role responsible for ensuring that all loans that are credit approved are matched up with an appropriate lender in the B Generous marketplace. Specifically, this role will manage each loan transaction once the B Generous underwriting team has credit-approved a loan and the borrower has signed their term sheet. At this stage, the Marketplace Lending Manager is responsible for posting the deal live into the B Generous lending marketplace and overseeing each borrower application to ensure it is matched with an appropriate marketplace lender in a timely manner. From there, the Marketplace Lending Manager will project manage the loan and the relationship between the borrower and lender to ensure that the loan is being completed through an efficient and frictionless process. This role is the primary interface with lending partners in the B Generous marketplace (e.g. banks, credit unions, private credit funds, CDFIs etc), and you will be responsible for packaging and posting loan opportunities in the marketplace, managing lender due diligence and overseeing communications between the lenders and borrowers, driving deals to close, and ensuring a seamless origination experience for the borrowers. Key Responsibilities Marketplace Posting & Loan Packaging - Receive completed, credit-approved loan packages from the credit team and prepare them for marketplace posting and/or direct lender submission - Post loans into the B Generous marketplace with accurate deal summaries, credit highlights, key financial metrics, and supporting documentation, which will be provided to you by the B Generous credit team - Ensure marketplace listings are complete, uniform, and consistent with B Generous’ standards and formatting requirements - Directly manage the routing of deals to appropriate lending partners based on lender appetite, credit box alignment, loan size, lender location, and product type. This is the most critical aspect of this role, you will be directly responsible for matching the borrowers with the lenders and managing that relationship until the closing of the loan.
