Accounting Solutions Lead, Client Facing

• Ensuring client Accounting and Finance requirements are fully understood and translated into appropriate process and reporting solutions. • Ensuring solutions are maintainable — avoiding hardcoded reports or manual, resource-heavy processes that create future risk or inefficiency. • Ensuring solutions are repeatable and scalable — developing standard approaches that can be flexed based on client complexity or strategic importance. • Ensuring our teams have the resources and knowledge they need to support our clients’ Finance & Accounting teams’ use of standard Accounting solutions • Ensuring insights and recurring requirements from client Accounting teams are captured and fed into future Spektrix Product development. • Ensuring client queries relating to Billing and Pricing are answered accurately and in a timely manner. • Defining and documenting processes that enable Spektrix teams to present, explain and deliver standardised accounting solutions during Sales and Implementation and through ongoing Client Success engagement. • Designing accurate, scalable accounting solutions for clients, building and iterating standard approaches wherever possible. • Establishing and managing clear escalation pathways when standard solutions are challenged or deemed unsuitable. • Acting as a clear escalation point for internal teams when accounting-related queries exceed their knowledge or remit. • Delivering regular internal training on accounting concepts, reporting frameworks, and standardised system solutions to support upskilling of internal teams. • Working directly with clients to deliver both standard and complex accounting solutions, particularly where non-standard requirements arise. • Building trusted relationships with clients’ Accounting and Finance teams, acting as a primary contact where their presence and expertise is most impactful and directing them appropriately within Spektrix. • Collaborating closely with Client Success, Reporting, Implementation, and the Spektrix Finance team to ensure cohesive and best-in-class client outcomes. • Triaging client queries relating to Billing and Pricing and develop standard approaches and processes to ensure speedy resolution.

Job Requirements

  • Highly autonomous - this is a brand new role at Spektrix with a lot of room to grow which also requires comfort with navigating ambiguity. You are excited by the opportunity to build out processes and set the standard of how we support our clients with this new offering from Spektrix.
  • Strong accountancy knowledge and hands-on experience in transactional accounting - you’ll need to talk debits and credits all day with our clients, mock up T account procedures and help them define audit-ready processes for their reconciliations. You’ll need to familiarize yourself quickly with niche compliance requirements or complex revenue recognition procedures for every new client you work with.
  • Communication and collaboration skills - with our clients, you’ll have to show openness and humility in your expertise in order to find the best solution based on their requirements and mindset ; with internal team members, you’ll have to seek out their expert opinion on system concepts to build solutions and deploy efficient training and coaching skills to share accounting knowledge in a useful way.
