Sales Director – North America
Orbital Materials
• Ownership of the North America GTM strategy, ensuring alignment with global commercial priorities. • Architect and lead the commercial strategy for high-value accounts, setting direction for sales, business development and GTM execution. • Partner with the executive team to define market-leading pricing strategies in a rapidly evolving landscape. • Cultivate executive-level relationships with decision-makers across priority accounts. • Deeply understand client infrastructure requirements and align solutions to their evolving needs. • Establish Orbital as the trusted strategic partner of choice for colocation and adjacent services. • Shape Orbital’s North America market presence by identifying emerging opportunities and competitive inflection points. • Drive cross-functional collaboration with technical, marketing and product leaders to develop integrated, high-impact solutions. • Serve as a senior industry representative for Orbital, elevating the company’s profile through thought leadership and engagement at key events. • Provide strategic insight on industry trends, customer feedback, and technological shifts to influence commercial strategy and future product direction.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience driving strategic partnerships and ecosystem development, ideally across technology, cloud, or data-intensive industries.
- Proven commercial leadership in senior or executive roles within the data center sector, with a strong record of delivering growth in fast-moving, international start-ups.
- Demonstrated success across the full sales lifecycle — from deal origination and complex negotiation through to execution and long-term account expansion.
- Deep network and credibility with hyperscale, neocloud, and enterprise clients across North America, with the ability to open doors and accelerate revenue.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and a collaborative approach that elevates both internal teams and external partners.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity, building processes from the ground up, and operating with ownership and urgency.

• Provide coaching and mentoring that incorporates sales strategy, process and proven sales methodology • Coach sales leaders to diagnose business challenges and design targeted enablement solutions. • Build credibility as an experienced sales coach, mentoring leaders on sales process, sales methodology, and MEDDPICC qualification frameworks. • Spend the majority of your time partnering with sales leaders to drive scale and consistency across the business. • Facilitate one-to-one and group coaching virtually or in-person to strengthen sales techniques and identify areas of improvement. • Lead enablement programs to drive continuous improvement in sales productivity and ramp time • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with RVPs, Directors, and frontline leaders; regularly communicate program results, ROI, and recommendations to drive adoption and accountability. • Learn and deliver global programs consistently at the regional level. • Conduct comprehensive needs analysis with RVPs, Directors, and frontline leaders to identify capability gaps and business priorities. • Collaborate and align cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Revenue Enablement, and GTM teams to ensure enablement strategy supports broader organizational objectives. • Establish and monitor key metrics to measure enablement program effectiveness and impact on sales productivity (e.g., ramp time, deal velocity, win rates, seller readiness). • Use data to iterate and optimize programs quarterly. • Transform sales mindsets and skill sets through a combination of onboarding, ever-boarding and other enablement programs. • Assist in content creation and drive consumption/utilization of training.
