Title: Coordinator, Partnership Marketing Location: New York United States ID 2026-2257 # of Openings 1 Category Partner Media Management Job Description: Overview The Coordinator, Partnership Marketing is responsible for proactively managing, supporting, and streamlining the promotional programs, campaigns and initiatives of assigned corporate partner accounts from the point of a deal closing through campaign execution, and ultimately, renewal. This position will collaborate and support on a day-to-day basis around the project management and execution of programs for prominent and strategic corporate partners of Major League Soccer. Additionally, this role may have the opportunity to collaborate across other international soccer properties such as Concacaf (across club and nations tournaments like Nations League, Gold Cup & Champions Cup), Leagues Cup, and the Mexican Soccer Federation (FMF). Responsibilities - Work with Partnership Marketing team leaders on day-to-day tasks for partner programs, working cross-functionally with internal teams such as Operations, Events, and Media, to ensure their successful execution and completion - Track and fulfill contractual assets of partner agreements and support activation programming inclusive of on-site events and sponsor promotions - Manage communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners and agencies, including facilitation of the creative approval process and ensuring partners adhere to brand guidelines - Maintain weekly status reports and communicate recaps following internal and external partner meetings - Support in the creation of recap materials for assigned partners, both event specific and more general sponsorship performance updates - Research relevant topics related to partners, partner competitors and general soccer and sports marketing industry - Oversee fulfillment of special requests by partners - Oversee and at times lead team general project requests and take ownership of planning and execution - Communicate with Managers and Partnership Marketing leadership team on a regular basis, as well as additional internal team stakeholders who are involved in partner business - Additional responsibilities as assigned Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree required - 1+ year of experience required, brand sponsorship project management support role preferred Qualifications - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects - Superior organization, project management skills, self-starter and attention to detail - Experience in client management and/or sales communication - Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and problem solve - Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills - Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams and with leadership - Embraces providing and receiving feedback constructively - High level of commitment to produce quality work and convey organizational ethics, integrity and compliance - Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally - Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays - Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision - Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Data Management systems - Ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
