Job Description

Senior Paid Media Manager

GoFundMe.org

• Deliver GoFundMe’s global paid media strategy, overseeing planning, execution, and optimization across SEM, paid social, display, video, and programmatic. • Drive measurable business outcomes - growing new fundraiser starts, donors, and repeat engagement while maintaining strong ROI and efficiency targets and working closely with the organic teams. • Lead cross-market campaigns, balancing global consistency with local relevance across North America, Europe, and emerging international markets. • Champion experimentation and growth science, using A/B testing, geo-lift, and incrementality frameworks to uncover new opportunities and reduce reliance on last-click metrics. • Collaborate with Product and CRM to create seamless user journeys that bridge acquisition, activation, and re-engagement. • Partner with Data Science and Finance on forecasting, attribution modeling, and media mix optimization; translate insights into clear business recommendations. • Build and manage relationships with media agencies and platform partners, ensuring operational excellence, innovation, and cost efficiency. • Develop creative testing frameworks with Brand and Creative teams to identify high-performing messages and formats that drive emotional and behavioral response. • Monitor, report, and communicate performance regularly to senior leadership — connecting campaign results to overall business impact. • Ensure all campaigns meet privacy and compliance standards, including GDPR, CCPA, and internal governance policies.

Job Requirements

  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns in a fast-paced, high-growth B2C or mission-driven environment.
  • Proven success leading multi-channel media portfolios across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and programmatic platforms.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills - able to connect channel performance to business outcomes and tell the story behind the numbers.
  • Experience running campaigns across multiple markets with cultural and regulatory nuance.
  • Deep understanding of creative testing, audience segmentation, and attribution.
  • Flexible and resourceful - thrives in ambiguity, comfortable moving between strategic planning and in-platform optimization.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; strong ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
  • Bonus: Experience in nonprofit, social impact, or community-focused brands.

Benefits

  • Competitive Benefits: Enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive healthcare benefits.
  • Holistic Support: Enjoy financial assistance for things like hybrid work, family planning, along with generous parental leave, flexible time-off policies, and mental health and wellness resources to support your overall well-being.
  • Growth Opportunities: Participate in learning, development, and recognition programs to help you thrive and grow.
  • Commitment to DEI: Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing initiatives and employee resource groups.
  • Community Engagement: Make a difference through our volunteering program.
