Technical Business Analyst

Analytica

• Elicit, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements from various stakeholders • Collaborate with data engineering teams to define, test, and validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes • Support the design of data models and database structures • Provide specifications and assist in the creation, maintenance, and optimization of SQL queries • Develop and maintain detailed documentation • Define specifications for reports and dashboards and collaborate to create visualizations • Perform data profiling, quality checks, and gap analysis • Create test plans and cases, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Facilitate meetings and serve as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical personnel

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Business, Information Systems, or a related technical field
  • 5 years experience as a Business Analyst in a healthcare or defense environment
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
  • Experience with ETL frameworks and data warehousing concepts
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Understanding of relational database management system (RDBMS) concepts
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, data privacy laws (HIPAA, etc.), and a working knowledge of the Military Health System (MHS) or DHA operations is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

About the Role: The Workforce Analyst is responsible for forecasting contact volume, staffing requirements, and scheduling to ensure service level targets are met efficiently across all channels.
