Compliance Program Specialist
Machinify
• Document and continuously improve legal and compliance processes, playbooks, and SOPs. • Support Machinify’s compliance programs in planning and executing projects and initiatives, and managing operational frameworks and workflows. • Partner with stakeholders to implement and maintain training programs, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and up to date. • Develop and maintain trackers, dashboards, metrics, repositories, and “single source of truth” documentation. • Design polished, business-friendly guidance materials (clear hierarchy, scannable layouts, thoughtful use of visual structure). • Research laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and internal requirements; synthesize findings into clear, actionable outputs. • Support compliance initiatives across privacy, Medicare/Medicaid programs, procurement, data use, and Responsible AI, as assigned. • Develop business-ready artifacts (one-pagers, decision trees, FAQs, and checklists) that make complex topics easy to follow. • Support the compliance response to security and privacy incidents, including tracking remediation activities and managing client notifications. • Review and refine client questionnaire responses and attestation drafts. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience working in compliance and/or as a paralegal. Relevant certifications (e.g., CHC, CCEP, ABA-certified Paralegal) are a plus.
- High ownership mindset: persistent problem-solver.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g. HIPAA and Compliance Program as defined by the OIG and DOJ)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capability to work independently, and to organize, prioritize, and manage concurrent projects in a fast-paced, enterprise work environment.
- Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills: can synthesize data and communicate clearly.
- Project coordination experience (tracking multiple workstreams, deadlines, dependencies).
- Proficiency with data analysis, visualization, and project management.
