Job Description

Insurance Compliance Analyst – Mortgage Loans

Community Preservation Corporation - CPC

• Communicate regularly with borrowers and insurance agents to obtain evidence of required insurance coverage within established timeframes • Perform compliance reviews of insurance certificates and policies and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure insurance requirements are met • Maintain accurate, up-to-date insurance data in the servicing systems for all assigned loans • Assist in gathering insurance information needed for lender and internal audits • Work with senior team members on insurance waiver and exception request submissions for non-compliant insurance issues • Take on challenges, acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes • Perform other administrative duties and tasks, as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS required
  • 1+ years’ experience in the property and casualty insurance industry preferred. (e.g. CRE Portfolio Administrator, CSR, Account Manager, Underwriter Assistant, Processor, etc.,)
  • Experience in loan documentation and agency guidelines preferred
  • Familiarity using financial institution software, e.g., McCracken Strategy
  • Strong interpersonal skills, accuracy with numbers, ability to multi-task and attention to detail
  • Exhibit self-motivation and ability to multi-task whether working independently or on a team
