Bloom is a full-service workplace design consultancy representing Poppy & Peonies on their search for an Inventory Planner to join their team. As Talent Advisors, we will be the liaison between our Bloom Partner and yourself during this recruitment process. We do not use fancy tech to search through resumes at Bloom; every resume is reviewed by a human to ensure that we attain a consistent and equitable interview process. You will directly join our client’s team if you are selected as the successful candidate. We look forward to seeing your application! Hi, I’m Natalie Dusome, Founder and CEO of Poppy & Peonies. At Poppy & Peonies, we’re a fun and energetic brand that believes style and function should always go hand-in-hand. We’re passionate about creating practical pieces that make life a little easier and literally lighten the load. Building Poppy & Peonies has been an incredible adventure. It all started when my daughter Poppy was born, and I found that my accessories no longer fit my new life as a mom. I needed bags with pockets and organization that looked cool but also had functionality. When I couldn’t find them, I decided to create them myself. And so, in 2015, Poppy & Peonies was born. We’ve come a long way since then—from filling orders in my basement to appearing on Dragons’ Den, and now, expanding into new product categories and collaborating with exciting influencers and brands. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing, but thanks to our incredible community, we’ve never felt more loved and supported! We believe in our responsibility to care for the environment and are passionate about preserving the health and welfare of our planet and the animals that live on it. That’s why all of our bags are made from high-quality vegan leather, and our entire product line is vegan, cruelty-free, and PETA-approved. We ship our products plastic-free and use a combination of recycled, compostable, and biodegradable materials to mitigate shipping waste. We are constantly looking for new ways to make our products and supply chain more sustainable, reducing our carbon footprint. As our Inventory Planner, you will own the forecasting, planning, and inventory strategy that ensures our most-loved products are available when our customers want them. You will work closely with leadership to forecast demand, anticipate growth, and develop inventory strategies that support both product launches and viral moments across multiple sales channels. As Poppy & Peonies continues to grow across North America — including significant growth into the U.S. market, new warehouse locations and emerging channels like TikTok Shop — your work will be critical in ensuring we have the right products, in the right quantities, in the right locations and platforms. A key focus of this role is market-specific inventory planning, particularly across Canada and the U.S, ensuring that inventory strategies reflect regional demand patterns, customer behaviour, and channel performance. This role is ideal for someone who loves turning data into strategy and thrives in a fast-growing consumer brand where demand can move quickly. Does this sound like you? Are you passionate about demand planning and forecasting? Do you enjoy building models that help businesses grow confidently? Do you thrive in environments where data, strategy, and operations intersect? If you answered yes, yes, and yes—we would love to hear from you! The Opportunity: - Own demand forecasting and inventory planning for all products, markets, and sales channels. - Develop and execute market-specific inventory strategies, with a strong focus on U.S. allocation to support continued expansion and growth. - Build and maintain forecasting models using historical sales, seasonal trends, and marketing insights. - Plan and allocate inventory across multiple warehouses and regions to optimize availability, delivery timelines and cost efficiency. - Collaborate with marketing, growth and social teams to anticipate demand spikes from campaigns, influencers, and viral trends - particularly across emerging channels like TikTok Shop - Manage inventory planning across multiple distribution channels, including e-commerce (Shopify), and social commerce platforms and future channel expansions. - Track inventory KPIs and provide reporting to leadership for decision-making. - Support product launches and ensure key SKUs remain available during high-demand periods. Identify process improvements in inventory management and planning systems. What You Bring to the Table: - 5+ years of experience in inventory planning, demand planning, or supply chain operations across Canada and U.S markets - Experience in e-commerce or consumer brands, ideally with exposure to multi sales environments (including Shopify and TikTok Shop). - Proven experience planning or buying inventory across multiple markets with a strong understanding of how demand patterns and customer behaviour differ by region. - Strong analytical skills with comfort working with data and forecasting models. - Ability to anticipate trends and adjust planning proactively. - Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities. - Collaborative mindset, comfortable working across marketing, operations, and finance teams. - Experience with Shopify-based businesses or multi-warehouse operations is a plus. Don’t sweat it if you don’t have everything listed above. We believe in growth and curiosity. If you have some of these qualities and are excited about this opportunity, then we want to hear from you! $80,000 - $100,000 a year The Recruitment Process - Video screen with Niamh, Talent Advisor from Bloom - Video interview with Natalie Bates, (VP of Finance) & Erica, HR Advisor - Take Home Assignment - Video Interview with Natalie Dusome (Founder + CEO of Poppy & Peonies) - Reference checks - Offer Total Rewards - Annual Salary ranges from $80,000-$100,000 CAD - 3 weeks of paid vacation per year - 5 additional flex days - $1,500 CAD annual health spending account - $250 CAD annual period & menstrual budget - $1,000 CAD annual allowance towards Poppy & Peonies product - $400 CAD home office setup allowance Location We are a fully remote team across North America.
