This entry-level role is designed for professionals with 1-3 years of experience who are ready to take full ownership of analytical projects, drive strategic insights, and deliver consistently accurate work products. The successful candidate will build a foundation in technical data analysis, structured problem-solving, and proactive stakeholder partnership. Responsibilities The Analyst will own and execute analytical tasks, collaborating closely with senior team members and cross-functional stakeholders. Project Ownership & Execution - Independently own and drive specific components of larger projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines agreed upon with stakeholders. - Manage assigned work end-to-end, demonstrating a solid understanding of project goals and business needs and asking clarifying questions when needed. - Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, communicating key updates and anticipating potential delays. Analytical Rigor & Accuracy - Utilize SQL and data visualization tools to conduct data analysis and translate findings into clear, actionable business insights. - Apply rigorous and documented data validation techniques to ensure work is accurate and error-free before submission. - Clearly articulate the analysis approach and methodology, justifying decisions with relevant business context (the "why") rather than only focusing on technical implementation. Strategic Communication & Partnership - Articulate clear and concise takeaways in verbal and written communication. - Simplify complex technical concepts and data narratives for non-technical stakeholders, fostering organizational clarity and alignment. - Provide proactive partnership by identifying opportunities to contribute data expertise or analysis, even when not explicitly assigned. The annual base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $90,000 Forbes has estimated the compensation range set forth above in good faith. As the Senior Analyst - Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for providing regular and ad-hoc reporting and analytical support as it pertains to internal system data and external industry data. You will assist with driving business performance measurements and opportunity identification within the business unit utilizing SQL and Power BI. You will lead reporting projects for industry comparisons, competitor evaluation, market segment penetration, strategic business unit (SBU) sales results vs. current market state, and identification of new market segments.
