Talent Acquisition Specialist
Think Power Solutions
• Source and identify qualified candidates for roles supporting electrical utility operations including engineers, inspectors, construction managers, AutoCAD technicians, and field personnel. • Utilize recruiting platforms, job boards, professional networks, and referrals to build candidate pipelines. • Maintain talent pools for frequently hired roles within transmission and distribution (T&D) projects. • Conduct initial candidate screenings to evaluate qualifications, experience, and project alignment. • Review resumes to assess candidate experience related to utility engineering, construction oversight, and field operations. • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers for further evaluation. • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. • Support hiring managers through the interview process and gather feedback. • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process. • Maintain job postings across recruiting platforms and ensure job descriptions remain current. • Track candidate activity and maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). • Assist with offer preparation and pre-employment documentation. • Support the onboarding process to ensure new hires are prepared for project assignments. • Coordinate with HR and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment of personnel to utility projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR support.
- Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, construction, or field-based roles preferred.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting platforms.
- Strong candidate sourcing and screening skills.
- Ability to evaluate resumes for technical and field-based positions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with recruiting platforms, HR systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience recruiting within the electrical utilities, energy, or infrastructure industries. Familiarity with roles supporting transmission and distribution (T&D) operations. Experience supporting hiring for project-based or field deployment roles.
