Solutions Engineer – Remote, East Coast US
Spacelift
• Work with customers to understand their business and technical requirements. • Develop and deliver technical content, including presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, workshops, and proofs-of-concepts. • Serve as a technical expert and advisor to our customers on our product and the adjacent technologies Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, DevOps, VCS, and Cloud providers. • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on our product, competition, emerging technologies, and industry trends. • Collaborate with the Product team to translate customer business needs into technical solutions and new product requirements. • Help with booth duty and meet with prospects and customers at conferences.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, a DevOps Engineer, or a similar position.
- Hands-on experience and intermediate understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation), CI/CD, VCS, and DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible) technologies and associated concepts, tools, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the main Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with software development is a plus.
