Job Description
Quality Engineer
Revolution Space
• Proactively identify quality, reliability, and compliance risks across parts, materials, assemblies, and processes • Lead non-conformance, failure, and escape investigations using structured Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) methods. • Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to verified closure • Support receiving inspection, in-process inspection, and final acceptance of flight hardware • Ensure travelers, work instructions, inspection plans, and records are accurate, complete, and followed • Perform supplier audits, risk assessments, and surveillance • Review and approve certificates of conformity, material certs, test data, and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)-type submittals • Drive supplier corrective actions and prevent recurrence • Help build, maintain, and improve a QMS aligned to AS9100 and ISO 9001 • Support internal audits, customer audits, and future certification readiness • Write, improve, and enforce procedures, work instructions, and quality records • Track and analyze non-conformances, escapes, scrap, rework • Identify systemic risks and trends before they become flight or schedule impacts • Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials, or similar)
- 7 + years in Quality Engineering in aerospace, defense, aviation, or other high-reliability regulated industries
- 5 + years working within ISO 9001 or AS9100-aligned quality systems
- Experience supporting flight hardware, space hardware, or safety-critical products
- RCCA methodologies (8D, Five-Why, Fishbone)
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
- Engineering drawings, tolerancing, material specs, and build documentation
- Ability to use integrated business software to track parts, manage schedules, and ensure data integrity from the initial quote through final shipping.

Days M-F, Remote This position exists to support Revenue Cycle Services' Total Quality Management team. This position will be responsible for performing various quality reviews, preparing and providing feedback to operational team members as well as other departments, and assisting in the development of Standard Work for team members. This position will help to ensure the accuracy and completeness of clinical medical record documentation and clinical coding as it pertains to assignment of patient status, documentation of care provided, support of billing for services provided and affect that data has on hospital reporting. This position will also be very involved in various quality initiatives across the Indiana University Health system. Key responsibilities/duties of this role - Facility Coding Quality Must Haves - 3-5 years facility Coding experience required. Your Responsibilities: - Record screen sessions showcasing specific tasks, accompanied by clear verbal explanations for each step. - Annotate screenshots of professional software by accurately outlining relevant UI elements with bounding boxes. - Follow detailed staging instructions to establish specific UI states before recording. - Utilize a custom capture tool for consistent and accurate workflow recordings. - Strictly follow task guidelines to maintain the quality and usability of the data. Qualifications - Strong familiarity with professional software tools in your field, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. - Detail-oriented and capable of adhering to precise instructions. - Comfortable working independently and meeting tight deadlines. - Access to a physical Mac and can create a new macOS user profile if necessary. Requirements - Previous experience in data collection, annotation, or QA tasks. - Experience in recording or documenting workflows. - Confidence in working with new tools and staged environments.
