Aledade is recruiting for 2026 Summer Interns! Interns ​receive​ guidance​ ​from​ senior​ ​leaders​ and​ ​take​ ​part​ ​in​ ​substantive, hands-on​ ​projects​ ​that​ ​foster​ an understanding​ ​of​ ​overall​ ​operations​ ​at​ ​Aledade​ ​and​ ​the​ ​function​ ​of our​ ​complex​ ​healthcare​ system​ ​in​ ​general.​ This internship will begin on June 1st, 2026, and last for 10 weeks until August 7th, 2026. Our Internship program for our Growth Team is designed for undergraduate students that are entering into their Junior year of college or candidates that are entering into their First year of a Masters program. Our interns will gain corporate experience and explore a future career in empowering independent, primary care practices. Interns will be engaged with their individual unique projects and be responsible for delivering results, both as an individual and as a member of the team. The Aledade Internship Program is designed to foster relative work experience, camaraderie, networking opportunities, and professional development. Primary Duties: - Create detailed tracking of deal closures and work with Network Development Leads (NDL's) to ensure paperwork is finalized. - Attend meetings that are led by experienced NDL's. - Partner with NDL's to ensure deadlines are met. - Learn to provide coverage for NDL's on leave. - Provide support for Florida and Georgia markets. - Ability to travel in-person to the Florida and Georgia markets 3-5 times within this 10-week internship period. • Lead the development and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure network solutions based on Cisco SDA and other SDN-based infrastructure. • Collaborate with internal teams to operate, adjust, and optimize policy-based automation and segmentation across the network. • Provide strategic guidance on network transformation projects, including adoption of SDA, automation, and security architectures. • Analyze network traffic, performance metrics, and make proactive adjustments to improve system stability and reliability. • Ensure network implementations and configurations comply with design and industry best practices, security policies, and regulatory requirements. • Serve as escalation points for operational teams, with strong troubleshooting skills drive resolution of incidents. • Provide network SME operational break/fix support for Priority 1/Major service outages. • Provide regular status reports, project updates, and network health reports to management. • Mentor and develop junior network engineers and administrators. • Stay up-to-date with the latest networking trends and technologies, particularly those around SD-WAN, SDA, SDN, and automation.

Role Description The Network Engineer II’s role is to ensure the stability and integrity of data and voice networks. This is achieved by planning, designing, and implementing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, the Network Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required. - Designs and deploys company LANs, WANs including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN concentrators, wireless, and other hardware. - Configures networks to ensure efficient and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes. - Monitors network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed. - Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records. - Monitors ticketing queue, responds to incidents in a timely manner, documents solution. - Ensures network connectivity of all servers, workstations, and other network appliances. - Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery. - Conducts research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry. - Manages all network security solutions in accordance to industry best practices. - Provides guidance to junior members of the team. - Participates in after hours, on-call rotation as needed. - Notifies end users of planned network outages / maintenance, work with providers to understand impact and timeline of provider outages. - Provides backup coverage for other functions including systems administration, virtualization, storage, and telephony. Qualifications - BS/BA degree in IT or related field (Industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree). - At least 5 years of experience in similar role. - Network focused industry certifications. - Certifications in Juniper, Cisco, Microsoft, or equivalent. - Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices. - Network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, Paessler, or Splunk. - Disaster Recovery planning/testing. - Expert level knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices. - High-level knowledge of QoS, MPLS, Ethernet, VLAN’s, routing protocols. - Previous experience supporting a multi-site, interconnected network environment with 500+ employees. - Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience. - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. - Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. - Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. - Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment. - Strong customer service orientation. - Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
