• Lead full life‑cycle project management for client implementations and conversions onto the Basys platform, including planning, execution, testing, training, and go‑live. • Establish and communicate project expectations, roles, and responsibilities to cross‑functional team members and resource managers. • Define and validate project scope with sponsors and stakeholders; implement effective scope controls and proactively manage change requests. • Create and enforce project governance structures, ensuring consistent methodologies, documentation, approvals, and delivery practices across all projects. • Serve as primary project leader for new client onboarding and existing client migration to Basys, ensuring smooth transition of eligibility, contributions, claims, pension, and ancillary functions. • Partner with Business SMEs (implementation managers) to translate client requirements into Basys configuration, data mapping, workflow design, and testing strategies. • Ensure readiness activities—including training, operational support model, data validation, and cutover planning—are completed and aligned to client expectations. • Oversee internal and client‑facing communications to ensure transparency, clarity, and confidence throughout the implementation lifecycle. • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop actionable mitigation plans; monitor risks and issues to full resolution. • Produce clear, consistent, and executive‑ready project status updates, dashboards, and progress reports. • Ensure quality of all project deliverables, including requirements, test plans, data files, and configuration outputs. • Implement structured lessons‑learned activities to drive continuous improvement in implementation methodology and client conversion playbooks. • Manage relationships, deliverables, and performance of external vendors supporting Basys configuration, data transformation, or integration activities. • Negotiate vendor scope, timelines, and SLAs to align with project goals and ensure compliance with contract terms. • Coordinate joint work efforts between vendor teams and internal teams to minimize dependency delays. • Manage project financials, track actuals vs. budget, and provide regular cost reporting and forecasting. • Anticipate resource needs and escalate gaps to leadership to ensure timely and effective project staffing. • Mentor other project managers and Enterprise Implementation Group teammates by providing guidance on project discipline, client management, and Basys‑specific best practices. • Promote an environment of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team and across departments. • Drive standardization of implementation frameworks, tools, templates, and Basys configuration guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree level in business, computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8 years’ project leadership experience with proven success in large, complex IT system implementations and other IT-related projects
  • Technically proficient with a broad understanding of system technology, various platforms, diverse application systems and tools, IT processes & controls and development methodologies
  • A proven track record of multiple, concurrent, complex IT implementation projects and teams
  • A proven track record in developing strong, skillful, effective cross-functional IT project teams with excellent customer service orientation
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues and customers
  • Professional presentation skills.
  • In depth experience negotiating with and managing third parties.
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring and conflict management skills.
  • Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
