• Responsible for strategic leadership, operational management, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and platform services • Oversee design, implementation, and performance of core infrastructure services including network operations, cloud platforms, identity and access management, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and end-user support services • Lead teams responsible for Service Desk operations, infrastructure engineering, and cloud services • Partner closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders for infrastructure services aligned with organizational strategy and security standards • Oversee enterprise cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS, ensuring security, compliance, and governance standards are met • Establish standards, policies, and governance for infrastructure services • Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) and operational performance metrics • Provide leadership and oversight of IT Service Desk and end-user support teams

• Play a key role to build, deliver, and maintain mission critical security tools that protect Humana's assets, data, and stakeholders. • Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders through cross-functional project teams to ensure timely delivery of capabilities. • Build and maintenance of Identity security products to meet customer needs and service availability. • Support project teams driving new capabilities, including integrating tools dependent on our products. • Maintain operational excellence through robust monitoring, support documentation, Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and testing, coordination with vendor for system upgrades, and troubleshooting / resolution of incidents.

• Review and evaluate the overall application and cloud architecture end to end • Assess frontend, backend (Python/Lambda), and serverless implementations • Review data architecture including DynamoDB, S3, encryption, and KMS configurations • Evaluate security architecture including IAM, API Gateway, WAF, Cognito/Azure AD SSO integration • Assess scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization • Review CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Terraform, Artifactory) and deployment practices • Provide recommendations for cost optimization and resource efficiency • Identify architectural risks, bottlenecks, and improvement areas • Ensure alignment with AWS Well‑Architected Framework & best practices • Deliver architecture review documentation and actionable improvement roadmap • Provide technical guidance to frontend and backend developers

Role Description Our client is seeking a CACR External Cloud Application Container SME to support an enterprise assessment of public cloud application container technologies across AWS and Azure. This role will evaluate cloud security posture, CI/CD tooling, and containerization controls to ensure risks are properly mitigated and aligned with internal audit standards. - Assess public cloud container technologies and environments across AWS and Azure - Evaluate CI/CD tooling, containerization architecture, and cloud platform readiness - Review and document security posture and control effectiveness across external cloud capabilities - Support audit testing, scope validation, and remediation recommendations - Provide guidance to internal teams on cloud platform controls, risks, and compliance requirements - Produce audit documentation aligned with IIA and ISACA standards Qualifications - Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Strong understanding of application containerization and CI/CD processes - Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code environments - Background in information security, cloud architecture, or IT risk management - 5–10 years of IT or cloud experience, with internal audit experience preferred - Strong documentation and communication skills for audit and compliance reporting - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
