Role Description Our client is seeking a CACR External Cloud Application Container SME to support an enterprise assessment of public cloud application container technologies across AWS and Azure. This role will evaluate cloud security posture, CI/CD tooling, and containerization controls to ensure risks are properly mitigated and aligned with internal audit standards. - Assess public cloud container technologies and environments across AWS and Azure - Evaluate CI/CD tooling, containerization architecture, and cloud platform readiness - Review and document security posture and control effectiveness across external cloud capabilities - Support audit testing, scope validation, and remediation recommendations - Provide guidance to internal teams on cloud platform controls, risks, and compliance requirements - Produce audit documentation aligned with IIA and ISACA standards Qualifications - Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Strong understanding of application containerization and CI/CD processes - Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code environments - Background in information security, cloud architecture, or IT risk management - 5–10 years of IT or cloud experience, with internal audit experience preferred - Strong documentation and communication skills for audit and compliance reporting - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
