• Build and maintain data-driven React applications using a python backend, embedded BI solutions (Sigma), and AI-enabled services as appropriate • Develop web interfaces and tools that consume and display data from the enterprise data warehouse and AI-backed APIs • Implement and integrate BI tools, embedded analytics, and AI-assisted workflows (e.g., natural language querying, summarization, recommendations) • Integrate with AI platforms, SDKs, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to incorporate LLM-backed functionality into applications in a secure and reliable manner • Work with structured and semi-structured data to deliver performant, reliable data and AI-driven solutions • Build data models in a Snowflake data warehouse as needed • Partner with Data Engineering and Product teams to support workflows across commercial data applications, clinical operations, lab logistics, commercial analytics, and AI-enabled use cases • Apply best practices in code quality, testing, performance optimization, secure design, and responsible AI usage • Contribute ideas to improve usability, scalability, and maintainability of internal applications, including human-in-the-loop AI interactions • Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, remote-first environment • Use infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) to provision and manage cloud environments, including AI-related services • Develop and deploy applications within containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), including services supporting AI inference and orchestration

• Design, implement, and maintain analytical models within our M&S capability called RAPTR. • Perform testing and validation of models and code to ensure accurate outputs. • Perform operations research analyses with RAPTR to answer client questions and recommend efficient courses of action. • Participate in client meetings to understand requirements and to brief your technical findings and analyses. • Collaborate with other RAPTR software engineers, modelers, and analysts to optimize performance for large-scale simulations. • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system reliability and availability. • Troubleshoot issues across cloud infrastructure, networks, and simulation workloads. • Stay current with advances in cloud technologies and recommend improvements to enhance RAPTR capabilities.

• Build out Pinner-facing frontend features in iOS to power the future of inspiration on Pinterest • Contribute to and lead each step of the product development process, from ideation to implementation to release; from rapidly prototyping, running A/B tests, to architecting and building solutions that can scale to support millions of users • Partner with design, product, and backend teams to build end to end functionality • Put on your Pinner hat to suggest new product ideas and features • Employ automated testing to build features with a high degree of technical quality, taking responsibility for the components and features you develop • Grow as an engineer by working with world-class peers on varied and high impact projects

• Own design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-impact full-stack features • Become a system expert across our architecture: Vue.js Frontend Python Django / Django REST Framework (DRF) APIs Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including GKE, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), Cloud Storage, and BigQuery • Advocate for pragmatic engineering and simple, robust architectures • Partner closely with Clinical Operations to understand workflows and translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
