• Own design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-impact full-stack features • Become a system expert across our architecture: Vue.js Frontend Python Django / Django REST Framework (DRF) APIs Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including GKE, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), Cloud Storage, and BigQuery • Advocate for pragmatic engineering and simple, robust architectures • Partner closely with Clinical Operations to understand workflows and translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Ensure the codebase remains healthy by following best practices, established standards, and approved technologies; • Design and ensure the implementation of technical solutions for high-complexity problems; • Consider risks, internal and external dependencies, and cost impacts when proposing technical solutions; • Monitor the health of systems under your responsibility and act proactively to prevent incidents; • Work directly with AWS, designing and implementing serverless architectures; • Design and implement security controls and validation mechanisms; • Actively contribute to the creation, evolution, and maintenance of credit engines; • Work with relational and non-relational databases; • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines; • Develop solutions using TypeScript while maintaining a strong testing culture.

• Own and evolve core Data In Flight services (ingestion, user and event APIs, identity, system events) with a focus on reliability, performance, and cost. • Lead the Elasticsearch strategy for our multi-tenant live user and event data: index and mapping design, shard strategy, and safeguards across shared clusters. • Design and enforce platform contracts (APIs, data models, SLAs, and usage limits) that let product teams move quickly while keeping the data platform safe and scalable. • Work across other data and application teams on initiatives such as Elasticsearch upgrades, guardrails, resharding, and event retention. • Provide senior technical leadership during incidents and reviews, turning operational learnings into durable platform improvements. • Mentor engineers on distributed systems, data modeling, and pragmatic use of Elasticsearch.
