Your responsibilities will also include supporting technical initiatives, ensuring product safety, working directly with our customers to execute account strategies, and collaborating with operations, R&D, and supply chain teams to drive profitable growth. The ideal candidate will have strong flexible packaging technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and ability to develop customer relationships What you’ll be doing: - Design and develop packaging for new and existing products. - Lead technical activities to align with strategic goals by selecting appropriate packaging materials based on product needs, cost, and sustainability objectives. - Evaluate complex test results and field performance data to make data-driven recommendations that influence product strategy, quality improvements, and customer outcomes. - Lead cross-functional teams to align packaging with product and marketing requirements. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., ASTM, FDA, ISTA). - Identify and champion innovations using new technology and market insights to drive continuous improvement to packaging designs, cost reduction, and compliance with regulatory changes. - Lead complex customer and production trials, acting as the technical authority on-site to resolve issues, ensure flawless execution, and accelerate project timelines. - Travel to support trials and participate in customer engagements. - Performs other similar and related duties as assigned We’d love to hear from you if: - Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. - 5-10+ years of experience in packaging design and development. - Strong understanding of flexible packaging materials and manufacturing processes, with extensive experience driving growth through strong customer relationships. - Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. - Experience with sustainable packaging. This is a 100% remote position Midwest or Northeast Region of the US with travel required ranging from 20-40%. Must be near major airport. Compensation: The annual base salary range for this role is from $94,275 to $113,130 An annual bonus is awarded to eligible employees upon attaining various business and individual goals as defined by the Company and the department leader. This annual bonus is discretionary, and the Company has sole discretion to determine the amount of the award. • Deliver commissioning and training services sold on projects against scope and schedule, ensuring successful project delivery. • Work in conjunction with Riedel Teams and Customers to organize and prepare for onsite commissioning and training including all content and materials required. • Ensure all pre and post commissioning documentation is complete for proper handover to the Support teams. • Ensure services quoted and ordered are appropriate and expenses are tracked. • Advise Management on project status, risks and mitigation, and scope. • Track and resolve any project related issues. • Research and promote additional business opportunities, solutions, and services sales to the client and sales team. • Manage and take ownership of Customer Support cases. • Participate in the 24/7 Service Level Agreement hotline during local office business hours and on-call during the weekend. • Support customers with remote online sessions when needed. • Reproduce issues on service lab equipment. • Proactively educate clients, business partners, and team members to enhance their product and solutions knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills. • Act as market and industry aware collaborator providing information on competition and market trends. • Champion KCS principles, educating and coaching support staff on effective knowledge creation and maintenance • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, user documentation, and guides to support products and services • Utilize the knowledge base to efficiently resolve customer issues

• Lead assigned capital projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets; manage contractors and vendors to ensure successful delivery • Apply project management best practices and tools to monitor progress and mitigate risks • Champion a culture of safety by identifying hazards, implementing controls, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols • Collaborate with plant teams, TPM leaders, and external consultants to integrate Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles into capital projects • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and performance metrics to the Capital Delivery Leader and other stakeholders • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with corporate standards and policies

• Execute productivity initiatives to deliver long-range strategic plan for Doors, working with internal and external resources. • Facilitate cross functional team collaboration to deliver improved results. • Challenge the status quo and be a change agent for the business. • Build capability of our operations to meet customer needs and replicate equipment and process standards across the network. • Work closely with operations, stable ops, and supply chain to identify opportunities and execute change effectively. • Raise Organizational Capability by educating stakeholders on the business value of strategic projects to create buy-in. • Drives effective best practice sharing and teamwork effectiveness across the Doors facilities. • Learn the door and door component manufacturing processes thoroughly, including externally supplied parts manufacturing. • Ensure that standard operating procedures exist to meet both the short term and long-term needs of the business. • Assist in the implementation of TPM standards as applicable. • Provide training to develop proficiency in key competencies.
