We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to support our Global Payroll and Accounting functions. This role provides hands-on experience in payroll operations, accounting entries, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple countries. The intern will gain exposure to global payroll processes, accounting controls, and automation initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Global Payroll Support - Assist in ensuring accurate salary calculations, variable payments, and payroll adjustments. - Support verification of employee payroll deductions, including taxes, social contributions, and benefits. - Work with ADP and Human Resources to help ensure payroll processing complies with local laws and regulations across multiple countries. - Maintain proper documentation for payroll processes and compliance audits. - Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. Accounting & Reporting - Support preparation of payroll-related journal entries and account reconciliations for multiple countries. - Assist in ensuring appropriate accounting treatment of payroll transactions in accordance with company policies. - Participate in monthly close activities related to payroll accounting. Technology & Process Optimization - Participate in automation initiatives and payroll process improvement projects. - Support the implementation of an employee payroll portal leveraging AI to: - Automate responses to common payroll-related questions. - Enable employees to use self-serve and access payroll information. - Provide structured submission processes to streamline payroll inquiries and documentation. Collaboration & Compliance - Work cross-functionally with Accounting, Human Resources, payroll providers, and global business teams. - Communicate proactively with team members to resolve issues efficiently. Desired Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Proficient with systems and technology; strong aptitude for learning new tools. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to work from Tuesday May 26th until Friday August 7th. Eligibility Requirements 1. Be at least 17 years of age prior to scheduled start date 2. Be currently enrolled at an accredited institution 3.
