Role Description - Oversee and process the complete payroll cycle for employees, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, and deductions. - Manage payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, and employee modifications promptly and accurately. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including tax filings and wage reporting. - Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management review, including tax liabilities and financial impact. - Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and time-off policies, addressing issues efficiently. - Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee records and support new employee onboarding processes. - Assist with annual audits and preparations for fiscal year-end reporting. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. - 2-4 years of experience in payroll administration or related HR roles. - Proficient in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Excel. - Strong understanding of payroll practices, federal and state employment regulations. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing. - Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive employee information confidentially. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently. - Comfortable working U.S. hours.
