Insurance Statistical Data Analyst

• Prepare, validate, and submit WC reports, including WCPOLS, WCSTAT, IDC/MDC, and Financial Data Calls. • Submit reporting to ISO and NISS for other P&C lines. • Perform data reconciliations and quality checks (e.g., premium/exposure alignment, loss consistency, LCM impacts). • Resolve bureau edits and exceptions; identify root causes and recommend process improvements. • Ensure compliance with state-specific reporting requirements and bureau deadlines.
Job Requirements
- 3–5+ years of P&C insurance data reporting experience, with a focus on Workers’ Compensation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Direct experience with: WCPOLS, WCSTAT, IDC/MDC, Financial Data Calls ISO and NISS reporting
- Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, lookups, pivots), flat file handling, and QA techniques.
- Knowledge of statistical plans, class/stat codes, LCMs/tiers, deductibles, and loss components (IBNR, ALAE/ULAE).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Close attention to detail and accuracy
