Role Description We are seeking an experienced I&C Modernizations Engineering Lead to drive the upfront engineering and design finalization for I&C digital modernization across operating fleet. This role is solely focused on defining, reviewing, and locking in the customer’s design basis, which will serve as the foundation for downstream digital implementation and plant licensing changes. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in instrumentation and control systems (safety, non-safety, and nuclear I&C) with the ability to collaborate closely with customer engineering teams, ensuring clarity, rigor, and alignment across all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Lead I&C supplier-side concurrent engineering activities for modernization projects, partnering directly with customer engineering teams. - Define, review, and finalize design inputs, drawings, and design basis documents to serve as a clear, unambiguous foundation for digital implementation. - Ensure design outputs are comprehensive, defensible, and aligned with regulatory/licensing requirements. - Bring downstream awareness to upstream design, understanding operational, safety, and implementation impacts. - Facilitate technical decision-making, anticipate gaps in system knowledge, and manage justified exceptions while maintaining strict engineering rigor. - Participate in design reviews, documentation approvals, and licensing support activities as required. • Monitor and develop supplier quality with best TQRDC (Technology, Quality, Response, Delivery and Cost) performance. • Handle assembly quality issue, verify the root cause and make sure the corrective actions can be implemented effectively and timely to prevent recurrence. • Conduct regular audit and have the quarterly performance rating, discuss quality/technical issues with suppliers. • Weekly monitor and analyze the assembly yield, defect mode, SPC to assure ongoing quality system capability. • Conduct the risk assessment and have the disposition for wafer incoming issue at supplier. • Generate and evaluate supplier quality reports, establish appropriate baseline, determine continuous improvement opportunities. • Coordinates with FA engineers to identify the assembly failures, addresses the root cause and get the corrective actions with assemblers. • Coordinates the qualification of new supplier, materials, package, assembly processes.

• Support all phases of clinical research studies, including investigator identification, site nomination, activation, training, enrollment support, and study close-out. • Provide on-site technical support during clinical procedures and initial product implants, evaluating device performance in the clinical setting. • Serve as a liaison between engineering, clinical research teams, and physicians to ensure proper device use and protocol adherence. • Monitor study progress and support sites in maintaining high-quality data collection and documentation. • Build and maintain strong relationships with investigators and clinical teams to understand capabilities, research interests, and patient needs. • Provide feedback to engineering and R&D teams to support product improvements and development of new technologies. • Collaborate with clinical research partners on study protocols, execution, and documentation. • Educate internal teams, sales partners, and customers on technology, clinical applications, and best practices, particularly during product launches.
