PR Specialist

Rentokil Pest Control North America

• Responsible for PR activities within the organization. • Developing and implementing the PR/Communications component for Rentokil’s different Lines of Business (LOBs) and Functions. • Execute corporate brand positioning, thought leadership and reputation through traditional media. • Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and execute publicity campaigns. • Monitor and manage relationships with external stakeholders including influencers, government officials, community leaders, etc. • Work with PR Lead to implement systems or processes to ensure timely identification of newsworthy issues, events, and people. • Monitor, maintain and evaluate media coverage and placements through Public Relations management software. • Manage all aspects of press release development, editorial content, build press relationships and track results. • Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage for Rentokil North America.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area, BA or BS; Master’s degree a plus.
  • 2+ years of Public Relations or Communications
  • Strong presentation skills are required.
  • Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a heightened sense of attention to detail are key characteristics of the perfect candidate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow for healthy internal and external relationships are a must.
  • Strong computer skills whereby the candidate is fluent in cloud base Marketing Software
  • Experience with the Google Platform is a plus.
  • Experience with aspects of both B2B and B2C branding processes, including marketing training, customer relationship management (CRM), product demonstrations, and superior data analytics capability.
