• Contribute to the design and development of mobile applications across platforms (iOS and Android) with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define technical requirements and deliver mobile products that align with business objectives. • Implement clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and ensuring the mobile applications are optimized for performance. • Assist in translating requirements into MVPs and iteratively refining them into scalable and extensible designs. • Work on debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting issues, ensuring that mobile applications run smoothly and efficiently. • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality. • Stay updated on new technologies and continuously seek to improve the product development process through research and experimentation.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mobile software development, working on real-world mobile applications for consumer or enterprise products.
- Hands-on experience with mobile development frameworks and languages such as Kotlin, Swift, React Native, or Flutter.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Strong team player with experience working in a collaborative environment, including experience working closely with product managers and designers.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and feedback effectively.

Role Description LMI is seeking a skilled Forward Deployed Engineer in the Washington, DC region to join one of our Modeling & Simulation customer development teams. Successful Forward Deployed Engineers demonstrate competency in integrating advanced technologies into existing business processes, building new functionality, ensuring successful software development, analysis, or deployments, and working closely with customers.
