Associate Registrar

As the Associate Registrar, you are an integral member of the College’s Registration team. You are accountable for the scheduling, registration, and enrollment activities/operations for all students in their designated programs. You are also responsible for the student degree progress, maintenance, and integrity of student records, and for providing excellent customer service. You are expected to maintain a deep understanding of the College’s core curriculum and all requirements for graduation and how the College’s courses fit into this progression.

  • Compensation
  • ACE is committed to paying a competitive wage while staying true to our mission of maintaining high quality, affordable programs for our students. The starting salary range for this position is $55,000 plus all full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus. Offers vary depending on education prior experience and expertise being applied to the role.

  • Day to Day Responsibilities
  • In this role you will wear different hats, but your skills will be especially essential in the following areas:
  • Ensures college policies and FERPA regulations are adhered to in processing student information.
  • Registers new and continuing students for courses each term.
  • Accurately processes schedule or enrollment changes for all students in his/her designated programs (Withdrawals, Cancels. Leave of Absences, Re-entry, Multiple Course Requests, Credit Transfer, Change of Start Dates, Course Retakes, etc.).
  • Evaluates credits earned for degree completion/conferral, maintaining academic records, ensuring their accuracy, security, and integrity.
  • Prepares required registration and enrollment reports.
  • Actively manages student records and ensures integrity of data in the Student Information System including, maintenance of records, grades, and demographic information.
  • Collaborates with administrators, faculty and other staff to facilitate and improve services to students, including catalog and registration/records policy questions and support academic programming.
  • Assists with initiatives in improving efficiency through the use of technology and creativity.
  • Plans and implements registration dates and timeline with other departments as needed.
  • Assists with developing procedures and practices for fair and consistent business operating procedures.
  • Ensures that all programs, terms, courses, and schedules are accurately built into the Student Information System.
  • Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Or an associate degree, plus 3 years of direct experience in a college registration department.
  • 2 years of direct work experience with a college registration department.
  • Proficient in CampusVue/CampusNexus and Student Information System is preferred.
  • Must be able to maintain high level of sensitivity and commitment to the need of diverse populations.
  • Must be able to multitask in a high stress, fast-pace environment while continuing to maintain a stellar customer service relationship.
  • Work experience in an online environment with knowledge of state and federal regulations to include enrollment policies and procedure is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Role Description WSDOT is seeking a motivated and experienced Transportation Planning Specialist 5 to serve as the Climate Operations Lead in Olympia, WA. In this critical part-time role, the Climate Operations Lead will direct the administrative operations of the agency’s climate program, serving as the expert on budget and legislative matters for the Climate Mitigation and Adaptation Branch. The incumbent will coordinate statewide climate resiliency planning efforts, provide backup support to the Branch Manager, and lead procurement and contracting activities. Additionally, this position will independently manage the branch budget, ensuring fiscal accountability and alignment with agency priorities. Among the varied range of responsibilities held within this role, the Climate Operations Lead will: - Develop budget and legislative requests for climate activities. - Lead collaboration across divisions to ensure climate related decision packages and budget requests are coordinated. - Scope programmatic needs and draft budget requests. - Develop staffing and funding requests to ensure that WSDOT can meet compliance requirements. - Draft agency request legislation. - Prepare bill analysis and fiscal notes on proposed legislation. - Support agency compliance with the Climate Commitment Act, Clean Fuels Standard, alternative fuel programs, HEAL Act, and other requirements. - Independently coordinate required agency climate resiliency planning efforts.
