• The Business Development professional will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting commercial opportunities in the SME segment in Mexico • Execute strategic prospecting and effectively use digital tools • Generate qualified leads for financing placements • Build long-term relationships with clients • Contribute to the sustained growth of Viwala’s loan portfolio • Identify new business opportunities in the Mexican SME market • Convert relationships into qualified leads for financing placements • Develop a strong prospect pipeline through the use of digital tools • Learn the company’s product value proposition in detail • Offer tailored solutions to meet clients’ needs • Generate opportunities through client referrals

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in investment funds (VC), lending companies, or payment solutions, with a focus on SMEs; preference for candidates from mid-market companies (sales > MXN 100M) — REQUIRED
  • Strong experience in prospecting and forming partnerships
  • Familiarity with prospecting tools
  • Fluent English (B2–C1)
  • Ability to handle basic financial topics
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to prepare written proposals
  • High adaptability and resilience
  • Experience using a CRM to track sales processes (desirable)
  • Proactive
  • Results-oriented

Benefits

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Work arrangement: Full-time, either on payroll or contract basis; remote (Mexico City)
  • Salary: MXN 30,000 net per month
