Revenue Cycle Data Analyst

Pain Management Group

Role Description This position is responsible for overseeing charge capture accuracy, billing reconciliation, payment integrity, and vendor performance across PMG’s revenue cycle within our hospital partnerships. Through advanced data modeling and variance analysis, this position transforms billing and reimbursement data into actionable insights that drive financial performance and reduce revenue leakage. This position partners closely with internal operations and PMG’s third-party billing company to ensure services rendered are billed, adjudicated, and reimbursed accurately while proactively identifying trends, variances, and process improvement opportunities through data analysis. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis - Demonstrated experience working with large data sets and performing structured data analysis - Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, reconciliation logic, data modeling, financial analysis) - Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills - Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable operational recommendations for both operational and financial stakeholders Requirements - Experience working with a third-party billing company - Experience in professional billing, hospital-based services, or specialty practices - Familiarity with CPT, modifiers, and payer contract language - Familiarity with EHR systems is preferred (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) - Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) or SQL - Strong understanding of the claim lifecycle, EOBs/ERAs, and payer adjudication - Background in payment integrity, audit, or compliance analytics Benefits - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Vision insurance - Life insurance - Disability insurance - Paid time off - Flexible schedule - 401(k) matching
