Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description Join Us as an Associate Investigator Grant Analyst - Make an Impact at the Forefront of Innovation. The Associate Investigator Grant Analyst (AIGA) prepares, reviews and finalizes global investigator grant budget and payment schedule terms and conditions templates for multiple studies. The role involves developing investigator grant budget negotiation parameters with clients, communicating client processes, procedures and negotiating parameters to local team members. The Associate Investigator Grant Analyst liaises and establishes effective relationships with clients and internal functional teams and Contract Specialists as directed by Contract Managers. This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates located in the United States. Sponsorship is not provided for this role. Essential Functions: • Assist in the development of investigator grant budget grids for applicable countries in assigned studies inclusive of coordination with therapeutic and operational subject matter experts, as appropriate, to ensure proper grant development. • Draft applicable payment terms and condition templates for investigator grant budget grids. • Coordinate internal/external approvals and feedback to investigator grant budget grids and payment schedules. • Provide support for escalations with external clients for investigator budget development, process and negotiation parameters. • Provide approved investigator grant grids and payment schedules, process and negotiation parameters to local teams. • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure various site startup activities are aligned with investigator grant activities and mutually agreed upon timelines; ensure alignment of investigator budget negotiation process for sites and study are properly aligned to the critical path for site activation. • Adhere to company’s target cycle times for site activations. • Complete tracking and reporting as required. Education & Experience Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 2 years’). In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: • Basic understanding of the principles of investigator grant template drafting • Capable of reviewing and analyzing a protocol schedule of events to draft applicable budget grid and payment schedules therefrom • Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical product development process and involvement of CROs • Good oral and written communication skills • Good attention to detail • Good math skills • Capable of working independently or in a team environment • Good organizational and time management skills • Proven flexibility and adaptability • Basic proficiency with negotiation and conflict management • Possesses cross cultural awareness and is able to adapt appropriately • Good customer service skills, demonstrating a customer focused style of communication, problem solving and collaboration • Basic experience with automated systems and computerized applications, such as, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc • Capable of acting independently and leading functional studies with general oversight. Working Conditions and Environment: • Work is performed in an office/ laboratory and/or a clinical environment. • Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms. • Exposure to electrical office equipment. • Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear, garments and gloves. Salary Transparency: This is a salaried role that will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
