Partner with UX designers, interaction designers, strategists, and developers to define creative direction and deliver outstanding digital experiences across web, mobile, and emerging platforms. • Own the craft. Translate wireframes, functional specifications, and prototypes into high-fidelity design that brings the user experience fully to life — across desktop, tablet, and mobile. • Champion innovation. Continuously push the boundaries of what's aesthetically and technologically possible within our clients' industries. • Mentor and elevate. Invest in junior creative team members and foster a culture of cross-discipline collaboration and shared craft. • Deliver with consistency. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment, and maintain an uncompromising standard of quality from concept through delivery. • Be a client partner. Show up with confidence and clarity in client-facing presentations, translating complex design decisions into compelling narratives.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience at a digital agency
- A strong portfolio demonstrating quality work across digital media — including responsive web, mobile, and app design
- Expert-level proficiency with Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Deep understanding of interaction design, branding, digital marketing, and the end-to-end creative process
- Proven experience with mobile-first, responsive design across devices and platforms
- Familiarity with front-end technologies — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, data visualization — enough to design with development realities in mind
- A natural ability to absorb feedback, self-direct, and iterate with purpose
- Bachelor's degree in design or a related field preferred; formal design training highly valued
- Bonus points for: Motion design experience
- Financial services industry background
- Experience with data visualization and designing for complex information environments

The position will prioritize visually compelling and accessible design that inspires students, faculty, staff, donors, and members of the public to engage and connect with the Libraries and its various programs and services. The position will work across a collaborative team in the Office of Advancement and Communications as well as field a variety of requests and projects across the organization. The Graphic Designer will be a leader in defining and evolving the visual identities of the various brands associated with Libraries and will develop templates and resources to support a consistent brand experience across Libraries. Examples of projects include digital collateral for websites, signage for the Libraries’ facilities, public events, fundraising communications, and executive presentations/slides.
